FRC Team SAKURA Tempesta (6909) was established in 2017 as a middle and high school student main robotics team with the goal of helping students improve their technical skills and develop their teamwork and leadership skills while gaining practical experience.NPO It belongs to Sakura Tempesta and participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
In FRC, middle and high school students are the main team to create large robots that are over 1 meter in size.
What is FIRST Robotics Competition?
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is one of the robotics competitions run by FIRST, a non-profit organization, and is open to high school freshmen through seniors (10th Grade to 12th Grade).
Participating teams will compete with robots they have designed, assembled, and programmed themselves.
In addition to the degree of completion and technical capabilities of the robot, the evaluation will also include activities to promote STEAM education and the holding of events.
It also emphasizes the values of “Gracious Professionalism” and “Coopertition” (cooperation and competition), whereby the team grows through cooperation and mutual respect with other teams in competition.
