What is the FIRST Tech Challenge?
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is one of the robotics contests run by FIRST, an American non-profit organization, and is open to students from the first year of junior high school to the third year of high school (7th Grade to 12th Grade).
Participating teams will compete with robots they have designed, assembled, and programmed themselves.
In addition to the degree of completion and technical capabilities of the robot, the evaluation will also include activities to promote STEAM education and the holding of events.
It also emphasizes the values of “Gracious Professionalism” and “Coopertition” (cooperation and competition), whereby the team grows through cooperation and mutual respect with other teams in competition.
